Software Test Engineer

Experience – 3-5 yrs

Work Location: Chennai

Job Description:

• Work closely with product and development team to ensure to deliver great product experience.
• Break down user stories into clear individual test-case scenarios.
• Execute test-case scenarios on a production system.
• Provide detailed descriptions of defects discovered during the testing procedure.
• Be creative when designing realistic scenarios that have not been defined by the product/engineering team.
• Communicate clearly the results of conducted test runs.

Must have:

• Experience with testing web and desktop applications. (mobile not necessary)
• Enjoys poking around applications and trying to crash them.
• Experience with Linux. (emphasis on basic scripting, command line usage)
• bash/shell scripting experience.
• Basic familiarity with Windows/Mac OS.
• Familiarity with GitHub.
• Attention to detail.
• Familiarity with some API Testing. (manual)
